Master’s in Strategic Leadership

Productive and positive leadership is the marker of virtually every successful business today, but it is likely that only those with thoroughly comprehensive and advanced strategic leadership will be able to sustain that growth over the long haul.

Career Opportunities with this Degree

The most prominent master’s in strategic leadership degrees fall into one of two categories: the independent master of strategic leadership (MSL), or the master of science (MS) in strategic leadership. To the same end, the most typical career path for those who obtain a master’s in strategic leadership – other than serving as a high-level corporate executive – is to work independently or with an umbrella organization as a strategic consultant. Both the MSL and MS programs provide necessary expertise for those interested in growing their career in consulting – what is strongly projected to be the fastest-growing industry over the next decade, growing at a clip of nearly 83 percent. Because of the heavy number of people looking for opportunities, however, competition will be high for such jobs, although expected earnings for these positions are projected to continue to grow.

Jobs & Salaries with This Degree

A number of such strategic leadership opportunities exist today, including marketing consulting, scientific or technical fields consulting, general management consulting, logistical consulting, human resources and executive search consulting, and environmental consulting.
